    Ehhh the dealership isn't the only place that can take the bumper off.
    It's not hard you just have to be gentle and not break any tabs

    on the MX-5 the whole nose cone has to come off (dealership method of doing it, more labour fees that way).. or like on the 6, you can pull off a wheel and get the plastic liner out of the way. It's not easy to reach in there, and you can't see what you're doing so good luck playing with those clips by feel.

    If your 6 uses halogen bulbs it might be worth checking out the "long life" bulbs from Osram Sylvania. Available at most auto parts stores, though if they don't carry your size you may need to order online.
