    so there wont be any clearance issues? im hearing you need a stroker crank to run the k1 rods. is that why the pistons are being custom made to these psitons?

    from who and where?

    You do not need a stroker crank. the custom pistons are shorter so it is the same overall height as the stock rod piston length. These would also work with the stroker crank but it is not necessary.

    i was trying to point a member from the other place over here because hes trying to get a vendor to do basically what your doing...a group buy on rods and pistons. he said the k1 long rods required a stroker crank. i also had a buddy with a turbo probe fs that had issues with clearance on the k1 rods. thats why i was inquiring.

    i see, the only probable clearance issue is with the bottom of the block cylinder. any machine shop will check that for you and notch it if necessary.

    it definitely works with stock stroke crankshafts. i made a custom set of pistons a while back for someone running long rods and stock crank.

    bump they are ready! limited sets available until the next batch. 3 sets uncoated, 1 set coated left!

    These are flying off the shelf since the standard K1/ Wiseco combos are backordered until June.

    So if I was to do long rods I would be able to keep my stock crank still?
