    need some clutch help

I'm looking for a new clutch for the MSP and need some input on the
diff. choices for the reg. protege vs. the MSP listings. I want something
that will hold 260+ tq just don't know if the MSP ones are worth the extra $$$. I read that there are ppl running upgraded reg. protege clutches would love if some of them chimed in their .02!
    thanks,

I have a SPEC hybrid that's easy to drive but is rated near 400hp. It's definitely not cheap. Either way, Tim, you'll heard people who love or hate just about ANY clutch for the protege. I haven't had problems with any of my (3?) spec clutches so far besides it slipping when I put more hp on it than it was rated.

I can't comment on Protege clutches really, but I love my ACT that I have in the MSM.

well I think I've made my decision. I'm going to go with a Spec stage 1 for the MSP rated at 289tq. just need to pick up a light weight flywheel to match

Check out Clutchmasters with a Fidanza lightweight flywheel.

i think the 1.8 and the 2.0 are identical engines except for bore/stroke. but I am not 100% on that.

I'm using their fx100 kit for my 2.0L. Their 200 kit is kevlar/carbon for a bit more longevity. I think I bought mine from vividracing and the flywheel from ultrarev.com.
