Let's see took the car out to get it inspected. Apparently the boot for the CV axle was torn just enough for them to fail it even though it's not actually slinging grease anywhere. Shop wanted to charge me 180 bucks for an axle and labor. I got one from work to the tune of 40 bucks and spent a half hour this morning putting it in. 180 dollars my ass.
Also there's not lenses for the plate lights in the rear. Surprisingly these are very hard to find online. Shouldn't be too hard to find in a junk yard though.
Ok people it's go time. Are Skunk2 products actually good? I'm thinking along the lines of coilovers. I see the stuff everywhere but I'm pretty unsure of quality.
Skunk2 does have some quality stuff, but I'm not too sure on the coilovers. I've seen several cars out there rocking their coilovers, but I have no experience with them. If I remember correctly, they provide dyno charts for their dampers on their website, which is cool.
I'd hate to assume, but judging by the quality of their other Civic parts, I would feel comfortable buying them myself.
Test fitted the wheels. Thoughts opinions?
