Thread: buying a new project car

    buying a new project car

I'm trying to find a decent daily beater that I can use to fabricate the new SC kit. I've found a nice 1.8L car with 76k miles. If I end up grabbing this car up I'll get some pics and a detailed build list.

Plans are too keep it real simple with simple bolt=ons and retain the AC. This will require either no power steering or a more expensive electric steering pump. We'll see which way I go with it.

it's an 03 P5 w/ 44k miles, 6disc, sunroof, 5spd, stock as a rock. I got it for $7800. I'll post pictures and details in a bit once I get confirmation they've charged my credit card.

yeah, there's 55 pictures. Looks to be showroom new. The guy said if I flew up there and didn't like it they'd refund my money and fly me home. Can't beat that!

    Not bad at all.

How come the black seats in Proteges always look purple after a few years of sitting in the sun? I think mine are still black- but mine has dark tinted windows and spends a lot of time either in my garage at home or the garage at work.
