Oil change today with Amzoil 10w30, PCV valve, and a Mobil1 filter. Also added a can of Seafoam to the tank. I found the missing shock tower plastic cover in the under body plastic.

I also found a big-ass secret compartment behind the spare tire. It's like an 8X10X23 tunnel, big enough to store some dope bricks, or a tool roll. cool stuff!

I took the instrument cluster off today, and replaced a couple bad bulbs. Got everything lit up properly, and realized the green lighting looks like shit (splotchy and blech). I miss my red/amber color fom the p5, or my deep blue from the Dakota. Tomorrow, I'm going to score some Acetone, and remove the green cloloring from the backs of the gauge faces. With the green color off, I can just buy 4 new bulb condoms in whatever color I like, or paint the bulbs with glass paint. I can also remove the white from the under side of the needles, and paint them, if I choose.

And on an NB I approve of their use . You see, it only has one opening in the bumper, so there's only one logical place to install the fog lights. There isn't an obvious place with a very specific purpose in mind like there is on the P5.

I'll let it die though, I'm sure you're sick of hearing it. I bet they would look really good there on an NA though! Maybe I just think everything looks better on a Miata :P

Oh and +1 for red/amber illumination! So glad my Miata kept with that tradition. No NAs came that way from the factory though.. probably easier to mod it to be amber/red than it was to mod the DX/LX proteges
