since we don't have a topic on this already.
I'll be doing this in the next day or so, using a 35%coolant to 65% water, as our temps do not go subzero.
Any recommendations on flush/cleaner products?
Is the throttle body coolant reclocation mod worth it?
I'll take some pics/instructions/whatever, since we don't have any of this info on our site yet.
Here is the old stuff from the radiator, with some 1 or 2 of the rinse/drain cycles in it.

I recently flushed my radiator. I just flushed it with the garden hose into a bucket. I didn't use any special "flushing agents".
Here's my progression of coolant colors:

The fluid was NOT green to start with. I continued flushing into the bucket after I had collected these, but the water coming out was pretty clean so I just dumped it in the rose bushes (and boy-oh-boy have the roses been looking fantastic lately!).
Remember to pick up some distilled water to prevent too much crap leaving deposits in the radiator.
Red Line Water Wetter is a nice thing to have in the coolant system too. Helps to break down the surface tension of the water allowing it to transfer heat better.

I was looking at that redline stuff and was confused. On the back, it claimed that adding it to a 50/50 (coolant/water) mix would lower the fluid temps aprox 8*. Using it with just water would lower the temps by 20*. I guess you could do that if you were in the desert, or somewhere where it never gets cold??
Also, for this flush, since the coolant was super-gross, I purchased prestone, super flush, and prestone super clean. Hopefully, these 2 products can help me get this system nice and fresh again.
I "should probably" replace my hoses too, but they appear to be in fine shape for now.

we used the water wetter and distilled water in the race cars at the team i worked for, but we also changed the coolant every race, so no chance of freezing
