I replaced both bulbs and I checked the fuses related to the rear bulbs and all are functioning right. Would it be related to the tranny when I put the shifter in reverse?
Need help.
Thank you.

might be the reverse light switch in the tranny...

Would it be disengaged? Would it be something I can do inside the vehicle through the actual shifter or would I have to rip my tranny off again?

well i dont know about these cars.. but my old old suv (isuzu Amigo) had a switch like thing on the tranny... and i happen to break the wire off on accident while taking the tranny out... so i ended up just wiring the reverse lights to a switch lol...

I can look into it normally it is mounted externally on the transmission..

Yes I agree, however when you have very dark tinted windows and going to Dog dogs which we all know are full of modified vehicles, its hard to back up in the dark of night and avoid hitting cars that are parked door to door.
Thats why a switch can come in handy. I might even play with it and change the bulb.

Out of curiousity since I might go with the switch did you find where the wires would be located?
