Yesterday, we spent 1 1/2 hours with a Representative of WCVision's Marketing Representative. He wanted to know why we always have members at the various races. He asked for ideas from all of the members in attendance @ Mid-Ohio and we gave him a number of ideas, on what we know will work.

After he left our corral, I was asked by him to meet with Bob Woodhouse and Mike Davis, two of the owners in SWC GT and along with Dave the their Director of Marketing, they want to partner with us, to help promote the series.

The members offered up a number of ideas and they loved a number of what we came up with. A lot of the GT drivers came to me while and grid and said they are looking forward to implementing our ideas. One of the ideas was to be a crew member for a day, working with a team as a honorary member. Having a huge hospitality tent where all of the various car clubs that show up can have lunch with the drivers and crew, parade laps, pace car rides, and so much more.

I will have updates for you guys after our conference call on Wednesday....thanks to all who offered up their ideas and thoughts, it had made it to the top of the food chain in WC Vision..

e mail from Dave Drimmie

Here is an e mail from Dave Drimmie regarding Sunday's conversation.

Hi Marlon,

Hope you made it home safe and sound. Just a quick note to thank you (and your colleagues) for taking time out to talk to me about SPEED World Challenge. I am looking forward to engaging you and all of the Mazda-loving-SPEED-World-Challenge-Fans out there (as well as the fans of the other platforms . I am already contacting the leads from the tracks of upcoming races ... not sure what, if anything, I can get into place but I will try. Can you give me an idea of your plans for upcoming races to see if there might be something I can pull together for you guys. As well, I am contacting members from other car clubs (like Acura, etc.) to see if they have any plans to come out to the races.

thanks again and let's keep talking so we can hopefully move to get some stuff going.

Dave
