Revisions to the new site logo!

What are your thoughts?

I just dunno how I feel about using 3 different fonts in the same logo

and I actually still like the first one as an "extended" logo like something that could go on shirts but not really on the web site in that form

the trouble with #3 is getting it to work @ 70 pixels tall, it ends up being so small. any ad banner shown next to it would dwarf it

yeah not at all, we don't own the designs and as of at least right now have no right to use them. I'm sure me cutting and re-cropping the logo violated a few laws.

Even if that decal is NOT used on this site, but, I have a decal of it made and put on my car, there is no way to blame this site, other than it has TMF on it.

Just like the stupid print shops around here that print out Volcom diamond decals, when, volcom DOES NOT SELL thier decals.

I say it's BS, it's far enough removed from their logo such as to not cause confusion (especially just as a flat vinyl cutout)

I like #1 with what I consider minor changes (font and layout.. I love the stylized furai , I like the line under the text too).

I HATE the use of the car in them (atleast that car) TO ME and those who are not "mazda Enthusiast" they will not know what kind of car that is..

I hate the lettering in 1 and 3 I hate how chunky and busy they both are..

They look all nice. I liked most the bottom, #3.

In my opinion, the top logo is a more complete logo, but at smaller sizes, I think the fine detail of the tracing of the car will be lost; perhaps trying a stronger line will help. All the components are tied together and integrated, as opposed to being simple but on separate lines.

The second logo well, that doesn't really relate to cars at all; a logo sure, but maybe more like death metal band than 'car site'

The third is ok, but introducing initials will detract from the name, and might mislead people to think the forum is called TMF (and has a url to match). I think you want to build on the brand which is the domain, so #1 gets my vote in that regard too.

Again, consider how the logo will look at different sizes as well, and perhaps then see what people think.

Even though I voted (#3), I'm gonna jump in an be totally useless since I'm not going to actually design something else, but I really just don't like any of them. I hate the 'evil M', I'm not a huge fan of the "sketch" anymore, though I do think it looks better in the wide format kansei laid out (he should get part of the $$ being spent on this stuff), and the third one looked good at first, so I voted for it, then I put my glasses on and actually saw it in detail and realized it looks horridly busy.

The middle one looks hot. Personally, I'm more a fan of logos without a lot of text though. Kinda the route I take when drawing up logos and whatnot.
