This thread is for those running AFTERMARKET (bigger) injectors only.

What size (flow- in CC OR LB) are you running, what "brand" (RC, OEM Ford, etc)
What rail are you using (stock, perrin, MAM, etc)
What regulator? (Stock, Aeromotive)
What style clip (circular (mazda/subi) or square (ford, RC)
What fuel pump? (Stock, Walbro)
Pump Location (In tank, In line)
What did you do to get them to fit?

THANKS in advance

Injector size: 440cc, Ford "Green Top" HIGH impedance
Rail: Stock rail
Regulator: Stock regulator
Style Clip: Rectangular (Ford)
Pump: Stock Pump
Pump location: In tank
Had to use spacers provided by HiBoost, injectors fit top rail fine, just a tad longer, and the "spacers" worked great. Spacer simply added about 1/2" to rail height.

Rail: Stock
Regulator: Stock
Style clip: Stock
Pump: Walbro now (but also worked fine on stock)
Pump location: In tank
nothing special to do, they drop right in, oh and they are not noisy :)

Anyone with anything bigger than 440s?

Or RC's etc?

Just to throw this in there... a buddy of mine had a set of JDM WRX STi injectors (565cc) and i guess they should fit in our cars. They are side feed just like the USDM WRX 440's, so they should drop in just fine. I think i'll be upgrading to those once i max out the 440's. Its just the USDM STi injectors that wont work. I didnt know that, so i just thought i would share.

matty- I'd get green top ford injectors (440s). they need spacers and clips to install, but are cheap on ebay (new) since they are domestic injectors

I'd almost rather have slightly more expensive used wrx injectors since they are just plug and play.. I've got a company that will rebalance and flow test them for me for only $48 for a set of 4.

spacers and clips are just two more things to go wrong and I'm a firm beliver in K.I.S.S.

you can buy adapters too so you don't have to wire anything :)

do you know where to get those adapters? I need bigger injectors and I dont want to cut any of those wires if I dont have to :)

yeah Jamie, they are $$ though, $20/each IIRC. but then again, no wiring just plug n play!

not bad but we'll see what turns up with my wrx search.
