so i picked up this brand new perrin fuel rail for $100 from a local guy. Even though i already have a 626 manifold coming from Ken. is it too much to hope for them to match?
i figured i could always get my money back if it doesnt.

if the stock protege rail fits then this one will too.

i have been hearing confliciting reports about the stock fuel rail fitting on the 626 manifold. I was going to purchase one off of msprotege.com and the guy said he rechecked and the stock fuel rail would not fit on the intake manifold, so i backed out. Is it possible he had a non emission manifold or something that had different mounting points?

some people seem to think that because it only has 2 mounting bolts compared to the 4 on the protege that is a problem, its not going anywhere with 2 I can assure you

the perrin only uses 2 bolts anyhow. long as they are the right ones it shouldnt be an issue. (the ones it uses are on the engine side)

yea so if it uses the firewall side bolts it wont fit. i didnt know the 626 only used 2
