Here are some problems I encountered after the install. The suspension is incredible once these problems are rectified...

1. Inside the top of the front coil there is a plastic dust boot. NO NOT INSTALL it when you put your suspension together. This boot rubs against the coil and makes a clicking sound. It will eventually break and fall off. Then you have no problems with sound. Save yourself a month of agony.

2. The suspension has little vertical rods connected to the stabiliser bar. These pieces are not reuseable. If you are able to reuse them, they will make noise as well, they are made out of plastic and are to be replaced every time they are removed.

3. Remember the position of the white mark on the top of your upper mounts. They are a type of camber adjustment. When you replace the new coilover, this mark must be in the same place or your suspension will force the alignment out of whack.

4. Get an alignment as soon as you are happy with the ride height. No need in cleaning the road with a toe in or out problem.

All in all, it was totally worth spending the extra money on a real set of coilovers rather than just a set of springs. The springs look nice but that's it.
Good luck with your own install.

with a significantly stiffer suspension, it's not a bad idea to get camber plates or upgrade the front strut mounts to the MSP ones which have a stiffer rubber bushing

So Something like this would work well? One seems like the Cheap solution and one looks like the "Good" solution. Are they doing the same thing?

Adjustable Camber Plates

The DELSING MOTORSPORT adjustable camber plates have been designed to work specifically with either the stock or KW SUSPENSION top spring hats. These camber plates safely allow precise camber adjustment and provide additional caster , while eliminating unwanted flex from the standard rubber encased mounts.

Increased negative camber up front dramatically improves handling and steering response. DELSING MOTORSPORT utilizes billet 6061 t6 aluminum and stainless steel construction with high grade hardware included. Spring/vehicle load is well dispersed to the strut towers. Damper rod attachment is through a very high quality replaceable, Teflon lined, self lubricating, spherical bearing. Under wheel well elements, are kept away from the spherical bearing and engine compartment.

Adjustment and installation is straight forward with our included detailed instructions. Toe is affected by any camber change, therefore an accurate alignment is required after installation.

CAMBER BOLTS

While rotating the upper bearing does provide additional negative camber, for the weekend racer or daily performance driver, more negative is desired. At this point we wanted to retain the stock upper bearing. It is quite stiff and does isolate shock loads to this car which may be desireable to some owners.
The K-MAC strut mounting bolt adjuster shown is the best of the "bolt" type we have used. It allows for almost 2.2 degrees negative but more important, it is easy to adjust and stays where you adjust it. This is vital. We have had simple slot arrangements slip during hard cornering. Not Good! The kit comes complete with a cutting tool that works great. It takes about 1 1/2 hours to install both sides. This mod and our billet end links are great street upgrades.

they both do the same thing, but the level of adjustability is different as well as level of reliability

I like the plates myself. The marks would make it easy to set for "Race Day" The switch back for Daily use...

oh and the endlinks ARE reusable, provided that they're not completely rusted to shit.... the proper way to remove them is to use a box end wrench on the nuts, then using an allen wrench, insert it into the center of the end link stud and use it to hold it in place.... allowing the stud to spin will not only prevent endlink removal, but damage the bushing inside the endlink

there IS a testing proceedure for the endlink joints, it is in the FSM... if they fall within specifications, then they are reusable

the fact that they have a possibility of being reused is why the MSP sway bar kit doesn't come with new front end links

I understand what you are saying. The reason I mentioned that is that I had driven my car for only one summer and the stock ones were completely Siezed. It takes a day or two to get the links in. It's a good idea to be prepared for the chance that they will have to be cut off and have a set sitting on standby. It's easy to return them to the dealer for a refund if not required..
