Every Electrical wire in the MP5T has been Removed.
The Stock ECU, all Electronic brains that control the Wireless Entry, Airbags, Everything. (No Joke)

No Stereo
No Heater
No A/C

All wires that control all Lights, Windows will be custom built.
All wires to all sensors will be custom built.

1. Haltech E6
2. WRX Injectors

Nothing in that car that does not make it fast..

I think that most of Saturday might be getting as many different color wires as possible.

I basically have to build my own indicator system from scratch with 4 ways.

Then I'll work on the brake lights and the Headlights.

All wires will be hidden in the frame of the car. The battery will be relocated inside the dash in the center of the car.

Now that there is nothing in the dash, I think it's a good place for the battery...

Because I only have the Haltech and lights to power.. I think a 15 Lb battery is in order.

EDIT....N/M...I didn't see the text under the Pic....15lb is fine...but the 6 is WAY shorter and easier to locate inside.
Mine is a 15lb..but I bought the aluminum mount for it and I am relocating it as well....Just not sure where yet....I am thinking up front on the lowers ide of the fram rail down low.

UPDATE:


Jacked the Car Up.
Took the front Tires Off.
Removed the fender Liners.
Attached the HID Ballast in the front fenders on each side Hidden.

Re-Wired the Indicators, High and Hid.
Tucked the wires hidden running down each side into the car.
Secured the three pairs of wires in Loam, wrapped the loam in Electrical Tape
Secured that to the chassis with zaps.
Replaced the fender liners
Attached tires..

I'm not really like that, plus it gives me time to plan. When I get back, everything will be in boxes in the garage ready to go.. All the wiring is done now and the car is under a cover. No Biggy, it's paid for and there is no rust on a 2002 Protege... What more could you ask for.. :)

Suppose you're right, but I know if i had a huge project like you and such a clean car to do it on and I was in another country, I'd be trying to win the damn war just so I could come back and finish it! Glad to see you pretty much have the foundation of the project down though. I know this car has definitely been an inspiration to a lot of guys on the board.

Took off the intake manifold to re-Port and as anyone who knows... there is a ton of shit electronics on top of the mani. all that stuff that is built into the mani to support that stuff is gonzo and polished for a super clean look.....

Lookin good man. If you have any questions on the Haltech, shoot me a PM. I finally got the fucker running sequential on the stock CKP and CMP sensors. She's put to bed for the winter, but i still have all my notes on the subject.

By the way, anyone who says the stock coils suck has their head up their ass. I had them up to 8ms dwell at 8,000 RPM ( which equates to almost a constant charge) and they never missed a beat.
