Does the $45 inserts for the side motor mounts include inserts for both sides? Or is that per side? Sorry if it sounds stupid.

So instead of buying the whole new mount, you put the AWR ones in teh stock motor mounts?

AWR doesn't make the "whole new mount" for the passenger side yet. Last I heard it's not an important project for them (understandably) so there was no ETA on it. They just recently (within the past few months) released the drivers side mount, so even if you got that you would still need inserts for the passenger side.

i was saying the inserts just go in the stock motormounts? if thats true then whats the sense of buying a whole new mount itself...SLS makes a side mount, PG has it FTW

yeah I had that SLS mount.. that ended very badly.
And yes, just goes in the stock motor mount to reinforce it. The side inserts really feel nice and actually reduced vibrations, even with just the AWR 95 front mount in there was noticeably less vibrations.

stranded on the side of the highway in downtown rochester during rush hour in the summer... no lasting damage I guess.
AWR mounts are infinitely better.

I'm definitely worried about doing the rear...

I guess you shouldn't change only one side of the side mounts, you should change both of them, at the same time, right? The engine would shift all the stress to the unchanged mount, i presume.

^that would be my assumption...you want to keep things as balanced as possible whenever you can...

SLS not to good... If i had the money i would change out my passenger side mount and front mount for SU mounts
yes my bracket broke on me once. Ordered the new improved bracket and now it really doesn't line up perfectly anymore... but atleast it holds the motor

Yeah, the SLS didn't line up or hold the motor. Be careful puttin the AWR inserts on the passenger side mount to not split it.

lots of lube... wd40/white lithium spray/astroglide will all work fine Just remember to walk the insert onto the flange top then bottom, to keep it from stretching too much.
