Review PG Service & ATP HKS Recirculation fitting

At first glace, really nice piece. Until you try and install it. The fitting would not fit in the hks cover. The fitting was not machined far enough down for it to fit. Being how people kind of gravitate to me, my neighber (local cop), cool guy, was walking by and said his dad has a machining tools in his back yard.

We drive over there. His dad looks at it and take the piece and puts it in the lathe. Turns the lath on, and shaves it down to fit. Crisis avoided...

Get back home install it, hose slides on fine. car runs back to normal.


So, PG Review on service A++
ATP HKS Recirc. fitting quality F-. There is no way they should ship a product without putting it in a test jig to make sure the dimensions are correct.

ATP makes their own recirc fitting? I figured they'd just ship the HKS one. hmm. Good to know, I was planning on ordering that because I hate the noise the HKS makes.

really weird. Mine fit fine. Sorry that happened to you. Really lucky you have a guy with a lathe next door. Ask him if he has a pipe bender too and see if he can make you a custom CAI. :P

lol,yeah, like i said, its my luck.. btw, i already have MSCAI.. so dont need one.. but i am about to make hardpipes for my intercooler... hmm...
