Ever wanted to be able to remove a person from your car simply with Bass.

I have done it several time in my old car back in the 90's. It was a Ford Taurus Wagon that was running 146 Db with three JL Audio 12W3D6.

Here is how to determine the correct Frequency to "Burp" at a Db Drag.

You Need a Cheap Sound Level Meter and a Bass Test Disk that has the frequency tracks. (Ask Me, I'll send you one)

Most Subwoofers will hit Hardest at 50 Hz unless they are tuned lower by design. The most vulgar bass that is sure to rid your car of unwanted people is made around 30 Hz. This is the frequency that begins to loosen Bowels. Normally this type of sub enclosure is sealed and has a larger volume than the recommended size. Eg. The Sub is designed to sit in 1 Cu/Foot, but the box is 1.5 Cu/Feet. Bingo, this Sub will not give the best sound quality, but it will play close to Sub-Harmonic and Toss the Colon easy.

Ok, Back on Subject. Take your trusty DB Meter and turn it on inside the car with all windows up and the Heater or A/C off.

Play the 50 Hz track and turn up the stereo till 95 Db Is Reached. Do Not Touch the stereo Volume control and start to go down lower in Hz and watch what happens on the Sound Level meter.

If it goes up then keep going down until you reach a plateau and it starts to go down again. If it does not go up in Db, start back at 50 Hz and go up.

When you find the Frequency that made the most noise. That is your "FS" value or Frequency Stop. This is the frequency of resonance of the Sub-Woofer and the frequency that is easiest for the Sub to make. (Loudest)

Want to Rid the car of occupants, Play that frequency at elevated levels, Eventually the occupants will want to get out and throw up or Defecate.

Awesome. I don't have a system in my cars anymore, but if I ever choose to again, I'll remember how to do this.

It's a very good way to find the most powerful frequency that the system can resonate..

It's the one frequency I would normally choose to play when I wanted to totally vibrate a passenger.

I used to just put on "Sine Bombs" by Bass Mechanik. It worked well.

They are very cool because it just gets louder and louder..

However, for RAW POWER it's very effective to find that perfect frequency..

Right. I've been to a few IASCA competitions. I just decided that the added weight to my car wasn't really worth all the money right now.

Reminds me of something in Borland Turbo C++ documentation on the sound/nosound DOS commands, about killing chickens with just the right frequency to resonate in their skull.

{
sound(7);
wait(5000);
nosound();
}

In the Borland/Microsoft compiler wars, Borland was the fun-loving company who would put something like the chicken-skull story/myth in their docs. Too bad they lost.
