do any of your heat shields hit the plastic inner fender.. i have been noticeing a noise when i hit bumps and i have narrowed it down to the heat shield hitting the plastic iner fender..

thinkin about just converting it to SRI....

yes it does. Just remove it.

That is not a heat shield, it keeps water from dripping on the filter from the edge of the hood. Check the CAI rubber mount, where the CAI mounts to the frame, some have been breaking.

I was noticing the same thing and checked it today and determined it was the shield too.
