Hello everyone!

I feal really stupid as I have been looking for the OBDII port in my car for several hours.. In the manual and every single site on the net says that it's supposed to be lovated to the left from the steering column.. But I can't find anything looking like my plug.
I have found the Diagnosis port in the engine compartment.. but that one has a different connector.. There is supposed to be one inside aswell.. could anyone post a picture showing where it actually is located? Called DLC-2 in the Service manual..

I would be VERY grateful!

Thanks for reply! But it didn't help at all.. I'm still as confused and fustrated as before.. Looked for another half an hour today, but nothing.. I have removed more covers and padding just in case, but nothing.. If you have a protege 2000 mod. 1.8L or know anybody with one, could you please ask them if they know where it is or prefeerable add a picture?
If there is a difference.. I have with Manual transmition.

it's not a protege if it doesn't say so on the emblem!

So are there differenses to that aswell? weather or not there are an ODB port? Is there a list of differences between different names? 323, Protegé, Familia, Astina are different names I have found for this model.. I guess they wouldn't make an own ECU for the PRotege just because they are obligated by law to have one of these ports.. Is it the same signals in the Diagnosis port under the hood? but with another connector? Could I clone it?..
