no, not possible as the wiring is different.... you can however put in the non-trip computer gauges in though

if your car originally came with it, then you can swap it over... otherwise, you can't... sorry

oh what I would do to have a nice trip computer like that!
I won't even entertain the thought of that plugging right in to a USDM BJ. Plus I'd lose my board and I can't legally have an odometer that reads in km/h.
I'll just stick to my USDM board with my original odometer reading + canadian gauges to have km/h readouts.
i was just thinking about this the other day. I'd love to have this. too bad it wont keep my odo count (at least i dont think it would)

You would definitely have to transfer chips from one board to another.. I don't at all remember where the odometer reading is kept though. Plus who knows, that board probably operates completely differently.
I should plug my "least-desirable gauge cluster ever" (canadian km/h board but u.s. gauge faces) in and see if in fact the odometers do read in km/h. I would assume it was all controlled by the board on the gauges and not by some computer elsewhere in the car.

no, it IS legal to have only km/h as the speedometer.... read FMVSS 101
well it's cool that nofstein figured out it works... so now I want one too 8-)

Since you know the regional differences more than I.. would it seriously work in a USDM BJ? I know everything will be metric but I can swap my current speedometer on to keep the dual km/h mph readouts.
It would be a lot of paperwork and explaining when/if I wanted to sell my car though (obviously I'd return to the original gauge cluster but the odometer would be off by thousands of miles).

or you can just not go through that hassle and get a UK gauge cluster as it reads in miles! but of course you'll have fun trying to figure out UK MPG over US MPG ;)
there's a good possibility of it working though as the wiring differences are minimal in different regions... it IS different though
