guys i have a 1.5vvt with the activ-matic transmission an would like to go boosted anyone ever successfully boosted this engine i need specs for everything engine management, turbo size for stock internals fuel the works

Well i was actually thinking about turbocharging a ZL-VE so here was my plan:

Greddy V-Manage Piggyback ECU using similar settings to the Toyota Corolla/ Scion that turbo their VVT. The problem though is to get the timing of the engine correctly. The V-Manage will also help you change the injector duty cycle to give more fuel for boost among other decent functions.

The turbokit is fairly straightforward, you can use a ZM-DE US turbokit (Hiboost, turbokit.com) to handle the boost.

one problem is the activematic tranny, it was not meant to handle boost, so i recommend changing to manual tranny, plus this is more power to the asphalt.
