Hey guys,
i hope you could help.
Does anybody know what the diffrences are between the german FS Engine with 131HP and the FS-ZE with 171HP ?
I hope somebody knows which parts of the engines are diffrent and if its possible to convert the fs into a fs-ze.
thx for some answers ;)

only difference is pistons and intake manifold
FS-ZE pistons are the same as the euro FP-DE pistons
yes, it's entirely possible to do a conversion

ok thx ;)
the compression ratio diffrences result from the other pistons ? right ?
and do you know if its possible to get a used manifold from the US or you know a shop where its possible to get it ? The last alternitive would be to try to get this one from the mazda dealer. you know somebody who could tell me the part number ;) ??
and whats about the ecu ? i think they must be diffrent ? and do you know somebody who already did this conversion ??
thx for an answer ;)

So they had the FS-ZE cams but still 130hp? perhaps that's why I felt no performance difference with the cams (especially for the work involved) :P
