auto transmission trouble on sports 20

Help possible auto transmission trouble

When i start my sports 20 on mornings or after it has cooled
when i select (D) drive the car will rev but will not move
if i select (R) reverse it moves fine, it seems that when the transmission
fluid gets hot then the gear is selected then the car moves, reverse gear is no problem also after the car finally starts to move there is no other problem all other gears select at the right time in the right order, i will flush the trans today but could it be any other problems like sensors, can this problem be tested by diagnostic. when i started the car last night after leaving work before the car started to move my AT light started blinking when the drive finally cut in it stopped this is trouble.

Tranny slipping same thing with Sport 20 tranny in Trinidad.You should install a tranny cooler.
