I've got a bit of a dilemma. I want to fit a sportsexhaust underneath my car. I found that there are a couple of options and these are the two I have to choose from:

Bastück (German manufacturer) make a complete system, replacing the front silencer and the tailpipe, for a 63 mm pipe + sportssilencer

My local tuningshop can build me an exhaust also replacing the front silencer and the tailpipe, but for a 54 mm pipe and silencer.

I don't have to worry about approval signs because for both the options the replacement for the front silencer has non, and the sportsilencer in the back has them.

So what should I do??

Bastuck exhaust have a nice quality but the are quite pricy.

The larger diameter won't give you a high gain, aslong as you keep your cat in the car.

a big plus for the Bastuck is the material - stainless Steel.

plus the one from bastuck is really nice. The one with the oval tip and the two little pipes in it. Detail detail. (most expensive one of the three too)

It's going to be the custom line, with a round 80 mm tip, because that's the biggest that will fit properly in the rear bumper-skirt that I have.

Futhermore it wil be a 54 mm pipe, because allmost everyone I asked said that a bigger pipe is not always better

Especially for other road users it is quite friendly to not have a steamship pipe on a diesel :D

than you could use a tip up to 100m diameter.

if you want to buy this one and you have the sportive skirt like me you`ll need the whole catback because the end of the pipe would be to short....

A 4" tail fits perfectly in the back bumper cut out.
But I have a round one...
