I noticed the difference when I got one. My friend said I was crazy though.

I had one on my 323 hatchback that I had before my current car and together with the 35 mm drop and 17" rims the handling was exquisite!! I could actually throw the car around corners like rally drivers do!

It feels more stable in the turns and when you start adding other suspension components it just improves more and more.

Only one? You can get a lot more of those things!! Front upper, Front lower, Rear upper, rear lower and so on i guess

Check out the corksport website

Its called an UPPER STRUT BRACE and it helps to brace the front of the car, to help stop body flex.

Probably buying one suited for the BA would be a better investment. I dont know the differences suspension / chassis / weight wise but a BA Strut brace is designed to improve a BA's handling and a BJ is for a BJ.\
I have a brace on the front struts on my BJ 2.0l and the car has great turn in to corners.

Another way to imrove handling is stiffer (thicker) anti - roll bars or sway bars, which counters body roll in cornering allowing the car to bite in more, however both front and rear should be done at the same time as just stiffening the front encourages over steer, the rear opposite causing more under steer. Just food for thought.

If you have a BA then the standard BA V6 Astina one might fit.
You might find one in a braekers. Or even join the forum here....
