Hi all,
I'm Marc and I live in the UK. Proud owner of a 2003 2.0 Sport since January, had a 1996 V6 for the previous 4 years. Absolutely love it to bits. It's pretty standard at the moment (give me time) apart from the Kenwood dvd head unit, and all the extras that go with it. A definite improvement over the standard fit CD player.
One question (and excuse me if I find the answer somewhere else on the forum later) does anyone know where I can get an adaptor to use the steering wheel remote controls with my kenny head unit??? Seems a shame to lose them.
Nice to find a forum thats worthwhile, looking forward to chatting to you!

cheers
Marc

yeah, I bet you can get adaptors for corsas and saxos, and all the other common cr4p on the roads, just nothing for the mazda.
I guess reaching all the way over to the headunit is a small price to pay, I'd rather do that than drive anything else! ^^[/quote]

Hi Marc, and welome in. :thumb:
You could maybe buy an adaptor for another application and custom fit it to yours.
This is one of the reasons I'm not too keen on replacing my head unit.

I wouldn't let it put you off changing the head unit. I've found a massive improvement in sound quality, and I haven't even touched the speakers yet!
Nice to see the early GT in your photo - I had a 92 GT myself a few years ago, I have to say I loved it, and it was only the finances of running 2 cars that forced me to sell it (I kept the 96!)
Here's a photo of my kenny in place, would probably have been a more interesting photo if I'd turned it on, but I wasn't awake enough...

Nice head unit Marc, looks just perfect in the double din slot...
You could try a few of the Audio forums to see if any ICE guru has came up with a solution.
And the GT? great car, had it 5.5 years and it never let me down.
Unfortunately its been broken for spares now. X-(
