I'm an owner of Mazda Familia LS 1999 Sedan (imported from Japan) and I have a problem: I need to replace the ECU, but i don't know what's the Part Number o Code Number for searching & buying it
It' s realy hard to find an electric diagram for japanese car in Peru.
Maybe someone send me the ECU Part Number and if it's possible the ECU Pinout Diagram for my car?
Engine: ZL-DE , AT, 1500cc.
Thanks a lot for your help

Gracias Marshall!! Que bueno encontrar en este interesante foro a un hermano Venezolano.
In Peru is totally legal the importation of Japanese Vehicles, but they must be converted in a left hand before driving
In general, it's very difficult to find parts for Mazdas because they have to be imported, worst for Allegros, there are a few of them .

it's weird because Mazda build cars in Ecuador and Colombia, we're too close to those countries so should not be so hard finding parts for Allegros or even Familias, they share a lot of parts.... so I'm guessing you converted your right hand familia to left hand driving... that must be a nice process...
I don't know if a ZM-VE (1.6) engine ecu would work replacing your 1.5 ZL-VE engine ecu... if so you could get one from Ecuador or Colombia for sure... TStar or TheMAN will have the right answers for that...
En que parte de Perú estás... en Lima?.

Yo estoy en Lima
Here, the parts of imported japanese cars are got from Japan directly.
A friend tried searching it in USA, but it was unsuccessful, so all my hope it's this forum 8-) i hope to find anybody who had worked or used a similar Familia, for getting the Part Number and trying to import it.
I've got the pinout, but i'm not sure 'cause pinouts are similars in differents Engines, so i necessarily need the Part Number
