trans problem? need help sports 20

when i put my sports 20 into drive it lingers for a few seconds then
it starts to move, this only happens when the car is cold, like on mornings
or if i part for a few hours,could this be transmission problem or mabe a sensor problem

you changed your oil (transmission)since u had it???

also if it past 100,000 km by now you should be looking into replacing timing belts,tensioners,filters,oil all that sort of stuff....but you should be changing the oil regularly
