because the choices out for a 2002 kq laser are....... well crap,
im getting a jetspeed bodykit (www.jetspeed.com (http://www.jetspeed.com) or .com.au)
i am wondering if anyone has attempted this before?
and how much work is needed?
from what i know it will only really need modding around the headlights?
would the mounts be the same?
will there be anyother problems?

can anyone help me out please??

thankyou for any help,

you should make a mazda front conversion (headlights, grille, bonnet, fenders) and a rear conversion too (taillights, trunk)... as I know mounting points should be the same (side skirts should fit without problems)

a lot of money to me but it's possible

ROFL why make a ford into a mazda :bleh:

Sideskirts should fit without problems like marshall said.
Your rear bumper seems like it has a bit of an oval shape.
If you look at the trunk and the taillights, it flows in one line unlike the Mazda.

You should test-fit the kit before buying it if possible.
Carmate.com has some stuff and perhaps you should look on cardomain.com for other ford laser drivers who have done things to their cars.

Perhaps you could look into the older model Ford Laser, the older rearbumper + rear lip might fit your car.

i dont personally see the point in putting in mazda lights and taillights, it would be so much easier for me too sell up an buy an sp20.
i would like to keep it a laser coz noone has ever done up a laser properly, thus this is also a curse coz nothing is easy to do too it.

from inspecting other mazdas and comparing the rear bumpers look very very simmillar, they both seem to cut off under the lights the same and have the same/ very simmillar shape.

does anyone know about the mouonting points?
what do you guys honestly think of my ideas?
