View Full Version : EDM gauge cluster - ready for cruise control

today i disassembled my tach and guess what i found:
the edm tach also has a light for "cruise control" .. that's highly interesting since i don't know of EDM models that were delivered with it... which means: our EDM tach would most prolly be able to handle OEM cruise control devices.. time to look for one in the US :naughty:

The module and wiring would have to be installed..
I removed mine and fired it in the garbage last year so I know there are more parts than you might think that are needed.
The cable goes to the pedal in the car...

ken from protegegarage offered me a complete kit a while ago, consisted of 16 different parts alltogether... they would be completely useless if the tach wasn't able to deal with them.

THere's also a light that shows if the doors are open but as far as I know I haven't seen any BJ with that light functioning.
Perhaps in the US?
The last gen 626 has the same gauge cluster by the way, we removed one from a scrappy and testfitted in a scrappy BJ. Perfect match.

mine have this light and when any door is open turns on... maybe in some countries they enable or not certain lights...
