My husband and I are staying at the Holiday Inn due to us getting our rooms for free since we stay with them so much lol Plus, we may bring our 2 dogs and they accept pets. Where ever you choose to stay is up to you. The ending point is Kart2Kart in Sterling Hts so anywhere in that area is good. Super8 was chosen cuz it seemed to be the cheapest for a decent place to crash for the night.

ferry ftw? there was a ferry from here to toronto but it took longer than driving and only ran one round trip a day (which is 3 voyages for anyone who is counting, so that there was 1 round trip for canadians as well as americans).

Lake Express Ferry from Milwaukee to Muskegon if you can time it right.. and if it's really faster than driving

ha doubt it. They just released info (like a month or so ago) about the new 16x motor.. 2 rotor, 1.6, designed to be a direct swab for the current 1.3 renesis. In piston terms it's basically a stroker engine and is designed to greatly increase torque :)

A 450hp 3-rotor would get like.. 8mpg --but boy would it sound nice and be fast (cabpatch)

I plan on having about $800 in the bank and $200 on me. I plan on getting some more parts for my baby, give her a treat for making it 500 miles to Ohio, then 200 miles to Michigan [and maybe canada] then back to Ohio and then back to TN.

Through Ohio (never been to Ohio, though I've been to Detroit before lol): 433 mi – about 6 hours 59 mins

faster through Canada even with the slower 100km/h speed limits yipee.

Techno is good... kinda funny as I watch the pictures... I notice how many ppl actually have the newer version of the 3... I think Steve, Dave (STK), and myself are really the only ones with the models prior to 07.

You think those were bad... you should see it now... my car is always crying when I'm on those roads.... then again, my car is always crying especially when I go ice drifting :D

I have a question about the MI roads. Are they really that shitty? or just around Detroit? Because I drive up just along the lake from Chicago to Muskegon and they are by far the best roads EVER.

Here in chitcago there are potholes the size of subcompact cars!

Detroit and their suburbs... is really the ones I can comment on the most on... I know others north of me and a lil west of me can probably back me up... but yeah prob... 30 miles north of detroit are bad... and if I'm not mistaken... 30 miles west of detroit are also bad...

Northern roads and the salt made my car cry. I was not aware that was a ton of salt.. everywhere. I <3 TN roads hardly any potholes, no little black squiggly lines from where the road cracked, and NO SALT [minus once every ten years when we need it].

Rear calipers keep hanging up, my seat bracket just broke, rear sway bar mounting bracket broke, timing belt needs done...like, two weeks ago, exhaust needs some work, and I'm sure some other stuff too...
