View Full Version : Possible random downtime May 26 (Memorial Day)

According to Focus and Kansei, there may be some time on Monday (Memorial Day) where the site is unavailable or looks funny. This will be due to some expansion and merging. This will likely be database intensive so we'll likely have periods where the forum displays a temporary unavailable message.

I'll be up north so it shouldn't be too bad for me ;)

Thanks to Focus and Kansei for doing some intensive work come Monday!

Everyone may notice some forums change/move... be sure to watch for small changes!

If it works better for everyone I could also do the work on Sunday (tomorrow) morning, I don't have to leave here until 11 to get to the Mazda bbq

Chris, you do it when it is better for you. While it wont be fun with the site down, we understand you and Focus and the all the others have lives outside of TMF.

so the site was down today for ... idk how long, but I was about to sign up with 247!! yea, that's how bad it was!!!!!! :P

oh snap! haha.

yeah it was about 3 hours. Merging two separate sites, one with phpbb, the other with vbulletin.. takes some time :)

there are bug fixes.

and lots of little broken things as a result of the forum merger

yeah that message displayed while the forum was closed.. very old. Basically it's from when I did the 3.7 upgrade.
