SEATS ARE SOLD!!!I bought these wheels about a year ago but i had to wait 'til I needed new tires to put them on. I finally got the tires and they are too big for my P5 with the 50mm offset wheels. They are Kumho Ecsta SPT 225/45 R17 XL.
I bought the 225s because they were on sale at the time on TireRack.
I needed 205s or 215s for them to fit.
So I need to sell these so that I can buy the ones that fit.
They are brand new, they even have the glue from the info stickers, that's why they have all the crap stuck on them.
I'm asking $375, again offers will be considered, so much for breaking even.

As for the wheels I might sell them as well if I get a good offer for them.
They are the Mazda6 17" alloys, 5x114.3 with a 60mm offset.
They have some scuffs and scratches, but nothing major.
If anyone is interested in them, I can get better pics of each one.

Id love to get them both...theyd semi match my interior...only problem is shipping costs and it's almost xmas...so basically I can only afford to buy things for my family...Bump for a nice set of seats though.
PS. do they have the proper mounting hardware to go in an MSP? Or would I have to buy a new set of slider brackets?

I'm still infatuated with those Mazda6 wheels but that's like.. Mazda6 tire size on them, so no dice on my car.

They come with sliders but you still need to get or make mounts cause the seats for our cars have funny mounts.

I dont follow what you mean... Are you saying you dont want them cause they have tires on them?
I can take the tires off for you.

I mostly don't want them because my current wheels are under 15 pounds.. but also because it would make my CF hood look really out of place. The wheels would look amazing on your old or new P5.. you just need some 215/40 on them and some wheel spacers because of the ridiculous offset they are.

I know but if I use spacers I need to get longer studs, also I was thinking, since the rest of the car is gonna appear stock (the sleeper turbo wagon), I might want to go with a set of wheels that call a lil more attention to the car and make ppl wonder what else it has.

I totally see where you're coming from. The only reason anyone ever thinks twice is because of my hood and wheels, otherwise the car appears totally stock (people don't tend to notice lowering kits on cars they don't own).
although removing the lower front grille helps as well :P

Yeah but I dont necessarily want them to know it's turbo'ed.
I just want them to look and wonder.
Also those wheels arent all that light.
Maybe If I paint them bright white, I think white wheels would look good against the laser blue.

I didn't think Subarus were that popular in the south. Here, yeah I would never do it.. people already have enough time figuring out what my car is, now that it'll have a shaved hatch they'll be totally clueless lol.
most people think it's a wrx but I've been asked if it was a mazda3 as well (omg I wanted to end my life).

Lol... well now you have a turbo toyota P5ish... That doesnt help ppl figure anything out.
When's ur car gonna be done?

wednesday.. probably late in the day tuesday. The car should have been painted today.. when I saw it yesterday the car was in one paint booth, the new hatch, front bumper, and rear bumper in another. Just the front doors and glass are taped off on the car, basically everything has to be painted or blended this time.
Monday they have to assemble and hopefully the last parts order (little things like the clips on the sides of the headlights for the front bumper) comes in. It still needs a chassis alignment check (and adjustment if needed), a 4-wheel alignment (to my specs), oil change (royal purple + pureone filter I dropped off yesterday), and snow tires mounted up (dropped off yesterday).
but to end this threadjack I made a huge post yesterday in the thread about it: http://www.themazdaforum.com/showthread.php?t=9

I'm sure more than just mazda6s can fit 225s.
But yes that would help.

I still have both the seats and the tires... About the fitment, I dont want to say yes cause I'm not sure but I've heard that if you have the perfect offset you could.
Might require rolling the rear fenders.

I know someone that runs 225/45-17 on an MSP without rolled fenders.. but yeah the offset has to be dead on within a mm.

The seats are still for sale. To mount them u'd need to find or make the mounts.
Something like this:
