I have a charcoal grille, chracoal, fluid

I will have some dogs, possibly chicken and burgers

(BYOB, bring anything else u may want cooked or consumed)

We can do a nice drive afterwards if interested, I got anice long 30 mile strip of strait and corner roads we can drive out on.

Later that night there is a "meet" that anyone interested can attend with me.

that's usually what i end up doing for those kinds of meets. last time we did that, i was changing three shifters at once (i was the only one with ring-clamp pliers) and helping with a header and intake swap.

well ... there were some positives, and there were some negatives ...

DP install took 5 hours because the instructions were crap and not much was going the way it was supposed to...
End result: DP installed, bunch of other/extra stuff removed.
Goods: No exhaust droning, slightly more power, more power in the high RPMs... and quietness.
Bads: less power between 1800 - 2500 RPMs... had a couple of fuel cuts, but I think it was just the ECU adjusting to the new DP.
Overall: Happy.

Bads - an effed up front lip, and a big scratch on the side skirt under the driver's door. Driving on the freeway last night we hit something heavy and it f*cked some shit up, but it could be worse, so w/e.

One more thing that pissed me off on the way back.
I was already in Ohio, about 40 mins from my place, and I get KA band in the middle of nowhere. So I slow down and keep driving. It gets stronger and stronger. About 2 miles down the road I see a cop sitting on the divider between two concrete pieces. Some chick in a crossover just flies by me, then sees that cop, slows down, and just keeps driving right in front of me. So I'm just sitting there waiting for her to get pulled over cuz she definitely got clocked! That cop pulls out of his hiding spot, and starts catching up with us very slowly. He gets on her ass and just sits there for like a mile. Then he pulls back and takes the next exit ...........................

MOTHER FUCKER!!! If I was me speeding, I'd get pulled over before he'd even check my plates, but this chick gets away going over 80mph. Where is justice?!!! Fucking bullshit!

Hey, anybody around Detroit??

I really want to paint my calipers, but I have no tools. The lug wrench that came with the car doesn't get enough leverage.

Either that or can anyone suggest a cheap but good torque wrench that will work on lugs?



i can likely help paint the calipers.... i'm only in town for another week and a half though then work is sending me to marion ohio for a week home for two days after that and then i'm off to mexico for 3 weeks for work
