Ok automatic guys, I need your help here. I bought a used Lentech valve body from a guy on 24/7 a while back and finally installed it, but now I'm starting to think I've been scammed and that the VB he sold me was his OEM Mazda6 one.
Have any of you installed this without boosting? If so, did you notice a difference in the shift feel or no? Cuz I don't notice any difference at all. Don't get me wrong the shifts are still smooth, just not quick and jerky like I was reading they would be.
Also, do any of you remember any visual differences between the OEM VB and the Lentech one? I just talked to Lentech and the guy said a lot of them have a Ford emblem on it cuz the cores they use normally come out of a Ford. Any of you notice such an emblem anywhere?
Thank you for your help/input!!

I bought it used..
A guy on 24/7 sold it to me, so Lentech has nothin to do with this.

I mean to get it checked out, and then chargeback or something depending on if they say its theirs :)

I just remembered, this was the tool that "didn't have" PayPal and had me send him a check. So I issued an official check from my bank so it would be guaranteed funds for him and I can't place a stop pay on it unless he agrees to it (cuz it's an official bank check, not a personal check).
I so got scammed, there's almost no question about it at this point..

Damn that's terrible.
bumpin_p5 from 24/7 had one of those installed.
"The shifts are very very hard and very very fast. There is somewhat of a delay in the time you shift from first to second and when it actually starts to shift, but that is the only delay and its not bad. 2nd gear and shifting on up is very hard and tight. It seems as though it grabs harder and the tranny is actually putting down the power I give it, but may be a placebo effect."
His pics are down, tho.

nufan4322 is his username, and I PM'd him earlier today asking him about how the VB felt in his car, and for proof of original purchase from Lentech. He hasn't logged on yet to respond.
Allen Nufan from 2555 Angelus Ave in Rosemead, CA 91770 is his real name and that's the addy I sent the check to. Don't just on him just yet though, let's give him the benefit of the doubt and at least allow enough time for him to log in since my PM. Hopefully he responds..

Yes, exactly. I think he took the OEM valve body out of his Mazda6 and sold it off as Lentech. I called them today and asked about the differences, but they said visually it's hard to tell. Only clue they gave me was the Ford insignia due to the fact that they use Ford cores to build the upgraded valve body.

Bumpin is actually the one who sold me his turbo kit, so I went ahead and PM'd him as well this morning to see if he can give me some clues on this as well. Besides him, fLyPiNoY7 and bazooka joe are the only ones I know of that have done this upgrade.
Problem is, bumpin isn't really into the whole car scene anymore and hasn't logged on in months. Hopefully he gets email notification of my PM and responds.

I actually saved bumpin_P5's pics from his How-To so I'll go ahead and post those as well. I couldn't see any differences from his pics but maybe some of you can. Feel free to investigate.
Lentech one on the left (WITHOUT solenoids), OEM on right (WITH solenoids)

Well it turns out that the guy DID have the Lentech VB that he bought from MrTea on Mazda6Club, and he DID indeed total his car by hydrolocking it. I just don't know how to narrow it down to whether this VB is the Lentech one or OEM without actually pulling it out and sending it off to Lentech..
I'll try to post up a video later of the shifts.
