haha nah - its just rumors. Apparently sometime in '09 (20th anniversary edition) they are rumored to bring the new MX5 with a turbo :) It's been heard from mazda people but nowhere is it actually confirmed. There was an autoblog article on it too, but it was all speculation.

I heard some place it would have a rotary motor as a option. That would be sick.

I would imagine it would end up with an RX name.. not that every rotary car has but yeah.

all just rumours. The MX-5 doesn't need a turbo, but a bit more power wouldn't hurt (power that doesn't add weight, the MX-5 is already pushing it in it's latest incarnation).

my second one thought it was a 4-wheeler. Taken in the florida Everglades after going down the gravel roads to get 'gator pics ;)

LOL exactly.

That was an all out spin. I knew it was coming (I was in the passenger seat) from the cone before where the pictures started LOL. He threw it in too hot at the beginning of the slalom and as he tried to save it, she just went around haha
