I got this car for free about 4 or 5 years ago. I haven't had a chance to do much besides adjust the valves and rebuild the carb on it. Here are some pics.

That is a great car. My neighbor had two of them when I was little...one was beige, I forget what color the other one was. They were new then..so yeah, I'm that old...

moved to the Automotive Work Logs subforum. No, you didn't post it in the wrong place, I just realized the work logs subforum was mazda-specific and it doesn't necessarily need to be :)

And it's nice and slow, so I won't get into any trouble with it.

Ok, update on this beast. My dad and I brought it to my house this past weekend. I spent about two hours cleaning it out and then I washed it. Here are some new pics.

Ugh! This reminds me that there is one sitting on the side of 35E going to Dallas.
Every time I pass it I think of my Phen. I really want to buy it too. It's in awesome condition and they only want $1,000 for it. *gasp*

dude these things are awesome...did you see that 2002 that they did a motor swap on? I think they put a 3 series engine in it....I forget, but they made the thing into a turbo monster....::goes internet searching...
EDIT: there is a guy down the street from me that has 3 of these all fixed up...I'll have to ask him about them

Well...if I wanted to stick with period mods, then I'd be slightly off because the turbo cars were the square tail light models. Mine is too old for that. I do love the look of those cars, wide body, air dam and all.

Very nice and have you had a chance to make any more progress?

It is an automatic, and the only progress so far has been to swap the steering wheel back to my old Momo Jackie Stewart signature steering wheel. I need to order a power valve for the carburetor soon.
