View Full Version : I need Damn Cams!

And I refuse to buy a set for $800 from whoever that is that sells them.

I really just want a Full set of JDM's...Intake and exhaust.
The intake one is easy to get...but the Exhaust..not soo much.

I have every part for my motor, built block,ported head, and when my oil pump is back..Its ready to go together...but no damn cams!


Options,opinions or cams are welcome here.

cams? I'm running stockers ;)

although when I do headwork you can bet I'll look for some :)

Well....Thats the thing..We did do some headwork...so I want cams damn it..LOL!

Once someone has FS-ZE cams they never want to give them up, so yeah they're definitely hard to source. I lucked out years and years ago

Good luck on your hunt, if I see anything pop up in toprotege (the only other Mazda forum I frequent) I'll let ya know!

Well...Where can you ven look to source the JDM Exhaust cam.
I mean I know its just a re-pinned Intake..but man..Damn are they hard to find.
Corksport doesn't list them....Just the intake one.

Not sure why its soo damn hard to get the Exhaust one.
Just doesn't make sense.

Just buy two of the intake cams and call it a day. Re-pinning the cam shouldn't be all that expensive right?

I am selling my Twiggy cams...they are the N/A version though...but I happen to have adjustable cam gears in stock. You could have the cams and cam gears for a bit less than $800.00...

I dont want..nor nedd any cam gears.
And for $800....I can get cams any day of the week.
My main point is The cams for this car are Ridiculously priced and I refuse to pay that price for them.
I will run stockers and STill hit 300 HP...Just gonna have to Tune the shit out of it ....If I have to go without cams.

Not something I wat to leave to chance with as much money as I have wrapped up in this motor ya know.
