It seems the "V.P." Challenger had a wee bit of trouble at turn one of Road America. Absolutely unbelievable — who knew they'd try to re-enact the last scene of the movie so accurately. I'm an asshole, so I have to laugh at this. This car would never have lived up to the Vanishing Point Challenger. It would have just been yet another fad to stick around.

And besides, the Challenger didn't even hit the bulldozers at the end of the movie. It was a 68 Camaro that was being pulled by the Challenger by a really long cable.
